Phone Box Book Swap Open:
Now the red phone box on Main Street (opposite the pub) has been fully restored, it now houses our village Book Swap. During the summer 2026 it was used as a childrens book swap and was hugely successful, many books were donated to Long Lawford Primary School where we know they will be loved and enjoyed. From September 2026 the phone box book swap is for both adult and childrens books.

There is a Heritage Group in the village who look into the history or our village. A recent project was the refurbishment of our Red k6 Phonebox cast in 1937 and placed on site 1938 (opposite the Lawford Arms)

The Churchyard Project have a facebook group called Long Lawford heritage project @St John's Church.
There are Tea and Cake fundraising events at St John's Church usually on a Thursday 2 - 4pm. See facebook posts or posters in village for further details.
